Catalogue Note
First edition and apparently the first collected edition of a modern author. Poliziano (1454–1494) began to assemble his collected writings shortly before his death, a task continued by his friend, the Bolognese humanist Alessandro Sarti, who at first planned for a Bologna edition. The unvocalized square Hebrew fount used on H8r is different from the fount Aldus used in his 1501 Rudimenta grammatices latinae linguae.
