Description

  • largest of the chairs: 133 cm.; bedside table: 77.5 by 42 by 39 cm.
including a children's armchair of beechwood, the toprail carved with Rococo foliage, originally covered in dark blue felt; also including two pairs of armchairs in Baroque style, the smaller pair upholstered and covered in leather, the second pair of oak carved with spirally twisted columns and fruit-bearing vines; further combined with a German oak bedside table, circa 1920, the top of white marble, the door inlaid in ebony and mother-of-pearl

Condition

The first in original but torn condition, the woodwork firm, the cover however much destroyed, the leather covered chairs dry and brittle, the seats in need of re-upholstery, the last pair in need of recovering, one vase finial missing
