  • 61cm. high handle down.
19-cm engraved silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals with Chime/Silent near XII, foliate pierced blued hands, gilt pierced mask spandrels, silvered subsidiaries for fast/slow and chime on eight bells/ Cambridge chimes in the arch, substantial three train fusee and chain anchor movement with rack hour striking on a gong, quarter chiming on eight bells, moulded ebonized case with pierced brass basket top surmounted by a handle, flambeau finials to the corners, well shaped pierced side frets under handles, pierced mounts to the front, moulded plinth raised on claw feet, pendulum lacking

Condition

dial slightly tarnished, subsidiries partly rubbed, movement in original but dirty condition, able to function, pendulum lacking, case original but dirty, all mounts stained but gilding appears to be alright, a few thin cracks in the top, back trellis in the door is bent, together with a winder and a doorkey, pendulum lacking
