Description

  • the headboard of the bed: 147 by 166 cm., mirror overall 206 by 112 cm., wall lights: 96 cm. high
applied on all sides with fine mounts of gilt-bronze and supported on lion paws; together with an Empire mahogany psyche mirror, applied with mounts of gilt-bronze, the reverse finished in mahogany; also combined with a pair of wall lights in Louis XVI style, partly gilt and partly ebonised, the female busts each supporting a pair of light arms

Condition

The bed retains insert and support for matress, matress 188 by 148 cm., the bed stead with minor abrassions throughout, one finial mount loose, the mirror with top moulding partly fragmented and partly chipped, the wall lights gilt and ebonised decoration refreshed.
