- the desk: 79 by 188 by 97 cm.
the rectangular top covered in leather, the border tooled in gold, the edges trimmed in brass, fitted with three drawers above lightly curved legs applied with female busts and resting on acanthus and lion paws, the underside applied with paper labels stating the ownership and provenance; combined with an armchair in Empire style, 19th century, of mahogany, applied with mounts of brass, the armrests supported by sphinges, the front legs applied with winged feline heads and fitted with lion paw sabots, upholstered and covered in cut-velvet

The leather top soiled with water stains and burns in several places, the veneer and parquetry rather bleached, minor ols restorations to the veneers and very minor losses to the verneers, frame work of chair a little loose
