painted in blue on cream-coloured ground with a walled palace garden and seascapes, applied with four lion heads, one broken and re-stuck, the covers applied with lions couchant

Condition
Both vases in overall good condition with some minor glaze wear and surface scratching. Minor rim frits. Slightly soiled. Some of the lion head knobs with smaller restorations. Each lion head knob pierced to both sides.
