The surface in good, original condition, surface lightly soiled, the marble surround lightly chipped on either rim

Catalogue Note
The German sculptor Arnold Hermann Lossow (1805-1874) worked in Munich, then in 1831 travelled to Rome. Upon his return in 1841 he joined Ludwig Schwanthaler's workshop.
