- 240 by 194 cm.
the central composition worked in gros and petit point, including silver thread, with elegant couples, musicians, a hunter and herdsmen, the surrounding panels worked en suite alluding to womanhood
Condition
In overall rather good, original condition. Some old repairs and re-stitching, especially to some of the petit-point faces. Some damages to the silk borders and borders covering the joints between the central panel and the flanking small side panels. Colours still rather fresh and vibrant. Usual ageing.
