Description
- A still life of flowers in a basket on a partly draped marble table, together with a dragon-fly

Provenance
Anonymous sale, London, Christie's, 20 October 1972, lot 46 (as by P. Hardimé).
Condition
The illustration is representative for the actual painting.
The canvas has a (glue) relining. Stretcher marks are slightly visible to the front.
The paint layer has flattened and is abraded throughout, but in stable condition. No damages are visible to the naked eye. The paint layer is under a very dirty and glossy varnish layer and spots of surface dirt are visible, especially on the white cloth along with some discoloured retouchings.
Inspection under UV-light is largely impeded but confirms the scattered spots of retouching in the area of the table cloth.
Offered in a plain modern wood frame, in good condition. (JD)
