- 92 by 147 by 93 cm.
the rectangular top originally entirely covered with reverse glass painted sections, partly gilt and partly painted in ochre recalling motifs from Classical Antiquity, the rails of the giltwood support inlaid with glass panels painted to simulate Lapis Lazuli, the fluted tapering legs applied with human heads above acanthus
Condition
Considerable loss of glass panels throughout, however a sufficient number survives to serve for an extensive restoration, the support retaining two human faces only of originally eight, the paper that serves as support for the glass panels was printed in German and is dated 1764, feet apparently missing
