Two rare cartographic silk wall hangings 18th century

one illustrating Eastern France, the Rhine, North Eastern Switzerland, Arlberg mountains and Southern Germany; the other entitled Theatrum Belli by Johann Friedrich Oettingeri and Matthaeus Seutter, illustrating the regions West of the Rhine with the map orientated towards the West, reaching from Burgundy to Utrecht; both printed on silk, coloured, composed of sections sewn together, applied with paper label onto the reverse

Both in overall good condition, probably never exposed to daylight. Few minor tears and stains, the silk slightly dry.
