Condition
Illustration is quite accurate. Structure is solid. There are some liquid stains on the top. Originally with a drawer now missing.

Catalogue Note
L'anglomanie fut introduite en France par la haute aristocratie notamment le duc de Chartres (futur duc d'Orléans) et le comte d'Artois (futur Charles X). Des meubles et des sièges furent importés en France et ce type de table est une quasi reproduction de la célèbre gate-leg. Une table de ce type, estampillée de Pierre Garnier est conservée au château de Bouges tandis que de nombreuses autres sont estampillére de Canabas
