The complete portfolio, comprising 14 drypoints, hors-texte, each signed in pencil and numbered 53/150, on parchment, signed by the artist, the author, and the publisher on the title page, with text in French by André Malraux, published by Albert Skira, Geneva, 1973, the full sheets, in good condition except a few plates with mottled discoloration throughout, a tear in the first title page, contained in the original vellum- and paper-covered boards and slipcase (14 prints)
Condition
The portfolio is in good condition overall. A few plates (6, 7, and 8) have mottled discoloration throughout, plate 8 with the most severe staining. The first title page has a 4-inch tear at upper left. The boards have some surface soiling and are slightly worn.
