The complete portfolio, comprising ten screenprints in colors, 1967, each signed in pencil on the verso and stamp-numbered 160/250, published by Factory Additions, New York, the full sheets, printed to the edges, in good condition (10 prints)

Condition

The prints are in good condition and the colors are very strong. Each sheet has mat burn on the verso and a few inconspicuous handling creases. Imperfections in the individual prints are as follows: FS 22: There are a series of tiny ink losses at the lower sheet edge near the left corner. A few tiny rubbed spots are visible, one with associated ink loss in the blue of the subject's neck. FS 23: The lower left sheet corner is slightly softened, a few small rubbed spots are visible in the background and there is a tiny smudge of stray ink at the upper right sheet corner. FS 24: There are surface scuffs visible in the background at lower left. FS 25: There are a few small rubbed spots in the background. FS 26: The colors have attenuated very slightly as they are darker at the extreme sheet edges where protected by the frame. There is some minor rubbing in the background near the sheet edges and the lower left corner is slightly softened. FS 27: Very light rubbing and minor printing imperfections are visible at the upper left corner. FS 28: The colors are ever so slightly attenuated. The background color is a bit darker along the sheet edges. Printing imperfections in the background at lower left are somewhat consipicuous. The paper at the lower left corner has softened a bit. FS 29: There is a scuff of soiling below the nose. A few tiny rubbed spots are visible in the background, two with very minor associated ink loss. FS 30: There are tiny ink losses at the sheet edges at center and at the left sheet edge. The mat burn on the verso shows through to the recto in the white at the extreme lower sheet edge. FS 31: There is a 3/4 inch diagonal crease at the lower left corner with associated ink loss; paper fibers have broken. A few small rubbed spots are visible near the sheet edges.
