Lithograph printed in colors, 1895, fourth (final) state, with the artist's orange-red monogram stamp (Lugt 1338), numbered in pencil 48/100 (aside from the Pan edition), on wove paper, with wide margins, in good condition except the colors slightly faded, the lower margin previously folded back c. 1 1/2 inches and backed on the verso at left and right, pale light- and mat stain, framed
Condition
The print is in good condition as catalogued. The lower sheet edge was previously folded back and a flattened crease now appears 1 1/2 inches from the lower sheet edge. This crease has been backed with Japan at left and right to stabilize it. There is a window of light-stain around the image which has subsequently slightly faded the colors, and pale mat stain is visible in the outer margins. There is a vertical crease along the lower left sheet edge measuring circa 5 inches.
