Description

  • Joan Miró
  • Serie III: one plate (D. 91)
  • 240 by 300 mm 9 1/2 by 11 3/4 in
Etching and aquatint printed in colors, 1953, signed in pencil, dated and numbered 26/50, on Arches wove paper, published by Maeght, Paris, with margins, in good condition apart from pale light-stain, paper tape remains along the sheet edges

Condition

The print is in good condition overall. There is a pale window of light-stain around the image, and there are paper tape remains along the sheet edges. The sheet may have been trimmed in the vertical margins, as the width of the sheet is 515 mm and Dupin calls for the sheet to be 525 mm wide.
