The complete book, comprising 18 offset lithographs, 17 with hand-coloring, signed in ink on the free front endpaper and inscribed 'to Helen & Claus' and 'Merry Something', with a drawing of a five pointed star, with recipes by Suzie Frankfurt, on laid paper, 1959, some pages interleaved with the original fuchsia tissue paper, from an unknown but presumably small size, the full sheets, bound as issued, in good condition apart from an occasional fox mark, bound in fuchsia boards (stained and worn, slightly faded, lacking the spine)

Condition

The book is in good condition overall, the prints are in good condition and the colors are fresh and bright. There is occasional pale foxing on some sheets. The boards are warped, stained and faded, and lacks the spine.

Catalogue Note

According to Suzie Frankfurt's obituary in The New York Times, only a few dozen copies of Wild Raspberries were printed, which were colored by school children, and bound by rabbis on the Lower East Side.
