Lithograph printed in colors, 1896, signed in pencil and annotated, on laid paper, with wide margins, in good condition apart from a short tear at left, backed with brown paper tape verso and slightly on the recto, soft handling creases throughout the sheet, a shallow loss at the upper right sheet edge, remains of paper tape along the upper sheet edge verso, pale light- and mat stain, framed
Condition
The print is in good condition as catalogued. The tear measures 1 1/2 inches and extends horizontally into the sheet but not into the image. It is poorly backed with brown paper tape on the verso which extends slightly around to the recto. There are soft handling creases throughout the sheet, along with a very soft horizontal rolling crease at center. A 6 1/2 inch flattened diagonal crease is visible at the lower left sheet corner. The brown paper tape extends along the upper sheet edge verso showing through to the recto. Pale mat and light-stain along with some surface soiling has slightly darkened the paper tone.
