Drypoint, 1905, from the Saltimbanques suite, from the edition of 250, on Van Gelder Zonen wove paper, published by Ambroise Vollard, Paris, with wide margins, in good condition except the margins with a few fox marks, the sheet edges with discoloration, shaved at upper right, framed
Condition
The print is in good condition overall. Discoloration in the margins comprises a few fox marks and a slight darkening of the paper tone. There is time stain and surface soiling along the left deckle, two smudged fingerprints are visible at left and right edges and the natural deckle of the paper is shaved away at upper right.
