Etching with drypint, 1942, signed in pencil and numbered 15/35, on wove paper, printed by Atelier 17, published by Curt Valentin, New York, with wide margins, generally in good condition apart from light- and mat stain, remains of tape on the verso, framed
Condition
The paper tone is significantly discolored by exposure to light and to an acidic mat. There are remains of masking tape along the sheet edges verso with associated skinned areas where tape has been removed. Surface soiling is visible in the margins and on the reverse.

Catalogue Note
The full edition was not completed by Atelier 17 and Saphire indicates that the highest number found was 18/35. Later printings were executed by the artist in 1955 with Atelier Paul Haasen, Paris, and Atelier Crommelynck, Paris, in 1985.
