dye-transfer print, the photographer's estate, credit, copyright, and facsimile signature stamps, signed by the photographer's son, Alexander Haas, and titled, dated, and numbered '34/50' by him in pencil, on the reverse, matted, 1969, printed in 2008, no. 34 in an edition of 50 dye-transfer prints (American Image, p. 213; In America, pl. 93)

Condition

This photograph is in generally excellent condition. On the reverse, the print is numbered 'EHC-00109' and annotated '(printed by) CVI' in pencil by the photographer's son, Alexander Haas, within the information stamp. C.V.I. Lab stands for Chromatic Vision Imaging Labratory. The studio was originally opened in New York City; as of the mid 1990s it moved to Washington State, and is still printing dye-transfer prints for various artists. The Lab confirmed that this print, which includes the official C.V.I. Lab stamp, was made by them.
