platinum-palladium print, flush-mounted to aluminum, signed, dated, numbered '32/50,' and with technical, edition, and copyright information and annotations by the photographer in pencil and his Condé Nast copyright and edition stamps on the reverse, matted, 1960, printed in 1972, no. 32 in an edition of 50 in platinum metals (MoMA, pl. 35; Platinum Prints, pl. 36; Passage, p. 111; Marlborough, unpaginated;  Moments Preserved, p. 23; A Notebook at Random, p. 11; Chicago, p. 156 and pl. 89; Eye of the Beholder, vol. IV; World in Vogue, p. 351)

Condition

This print, on Wiggins Teape paper, is in essentially excellent condition. There are thin abrasions along the print's margin edges and on the reverse on the flush-mount, none of which affects the print. There is light rust-colored soiling on the abrasions.
