flush-mounted, titled, dated, numbered '10/10,' and inscribed '(MAP) 1642' in an unidentified hand in ink and with the photographer's estate stamp, signed and dated by Michael Ward Stout, Executor of the Mapplethorpe Estate, in ink on the reverse, matted, in a frame designed to the photographer's specifications, a Baldwin Gallery, Aspen, label affixed to the reverse, 1986, no. 10 in an edition of 10 (Complete Flowers, pl. 130; Pistils, p. 77)

Condition

This photograph is in generally excellent condition. There is a one-inch vertical indentation which is half in the image and half in the margin in the lower right quadrant, at the bottom edge, and which does not break the emulsion.
