Condition

This print, on paper with a semi-glossy surface, is in near-excellent condition. There are two very minor chips at the upper left corner, and two pinpoint indentations in the upper right and left portions which break the emulsion. Where the negative is inscribed 'Kodak' along the bottom edge, the photographer has retouched the print so that it is barely visible, except under close inspection. In raking light the following are visible: various barely noticeable areas of original retouching; and a faint hairline surface scratch in the lower left quadrant, which does not affect the image. On the mount, there is minor age-darkening at the periphery. On the reverse of the mount are ten small circular abrasions with adhesive remnants, five along the top edge and five in the center. There is age-darkening and a small rust-colored circular area of discoloration near the center right edge.
