Condition

Grading this albumen print on a scale of 1 to 10 - a 10 being a print that has rich, even, dark tones and highlights that retain all of their original detail - this print has a rating of 10. The print has deep brown dark tones and is essentially in excellent condition. There is slight edge-fading along the top and bottom edges. There are faint indentations in the upper and lower right corners due to the fact that the print was originally cornered in an album. In raking light, the following are visible: a small one-inch soft hairline surface indentation in the lower right quadrant in the tree trunk; and a small, soft crease that is barely visible in the upper left portion near the head of the statue.
