Grading this albumen print on a scale of 1 to 10 - a 10 being a print that has rich, even, dark tones and highlights that retain all of their original detail - this print has a rating of 10. The print has deep brown dark tones and is essentially in excellent condition. There is a 1/4-inch hairline indentation that does not appear to break the emulsion in the lower left edge. There is a very tiny white deposit of indeterminate nature in the upper left corner. There is a sharp handling crease in the upper left quadrant. When this print is examined in raking light, numerous soft handling creases, predominately along the left side of the print, are visible.
