- still life with steins
gum-bichromate pigment print, reduction notations in unidentified hands in pencil on the reverse, matted, framed, circa 1900
Condition
This slightly warm-toned print, on heavy textured paper with a matte surface, and with cream highlights and deep brown tones, is in generally very good condition. There are a number of droplet stains on the reverse, possibly from having been left on a damp surface. Two of these stains show through to the front of the image. The first is in the upper left quadrant, and the second is in the lower right quadrant. There is slight rippling of the paper visible throughout, which does not affect the image.
