Additionally, there is a Burtynsky studio label on the reverse of the frame with the title, date, and edition number that has been signed by the photographer in ink. This photograph is in generally excellent condition. As is typical with chromogenic prints, it has become slightly warmer with age; and this is visible in the margins. The photographer's ink writing in the margin, however, is still bold and strong. There is slightly darker discoloration at the periphery of the edge of the sheet. When examined in raking light, two small, soft handling creases are visible in the lower center and upper left areas of the print. On the reverse of the print, at the upper edge at the left, 'final 5' has been written in blue ink.
