Condition

This early print, on double-weight paper with a semi-glossy surface, is in generally excellent condition. There is tiny emulsion loss at the upper corners and at the lower left corner. The notations on the reverse of this photograph refer to the Egan Gallery, New York, where exhibitions of Siskind's photographs were held in the late 1940s and early 1950s (see Lots 197 and 198).
