Provenance

Acquired by the present owner from The Witkin Gallery, New York, 1973

Condition

This print is in generally excellent condition. In raking light, a few small deposits of the photographer's original retouching are visible overall, and a pencil-point-sized impression at the bottom right which does not break the emulsion. The top left corner of the print is beginning to lift from the mount. The photograph is mounted to a white board that is very lightly age-darkened along the print's periphery. There are also two minor soiling stains from adhesive at the top edge of the front and back of the mount.
