Condition

This photograph, on lightly-textured, semi-matte paper, is in generally very good condition. Typical of Weegee prints, there are multiple small handling creases along the edges of the print and at the corners, as well as a few minute surface scratches. At the center of the top and bottom edges there are 1 1/2-inch long areas of soiling and small losses from old adhesive. This is primarily in the margin along the bottom edge. At the center of the left edge, mainly in the margin, there is a loss to the photograph's top paper ply. As is appropriate for a print of this age, there is silvering in the darkest areas of the print. The back of the print has minor handling marks. When examined with a black light, this print does not appear to fluoresce.
