Albumen print from a wet collodion negative. With the photographer's red signature stamp at lower right. Mounted on original card, with a truncated paper label with printed title 'Un effet de soleil_Oce No. 23' glued to the lower left.

Condition

The photograph in very good condition, very good contrasts, no scratches or other manual damages. Slight foxing visible on the surface. The card completely glued to a thick board. The print was originally framed and mounted in a window-mount, remnants of the old glued passepartout cover on the lower margin of the support of the print. No restoration has ever been carried out.
