Condition
The canvas has been re-lined. There are some very minor spots of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably along the extreme left-quarter of the upper edge, with strokes behind the extreme left camel, some craquelure infilling, and an uneven varnish. There is scattered hairline craquelure, and some frame abrasion in the lower-left and lower-right corners. The work would benefit from a light professional clean. Held in a decorative, wide, gold and green-painted frame.
