Catalogue Note

Probablement exécutés lors du second séjour de Majorelle en Egypte (fin 1911-1912). Il séjourne à Marg en mars-avril 1912. Durant cette période, Majorelle multiplie les études et les pochades, qu'il numérote et date souvent afin de pouvoir ensuite les comparer. Ces petites oeuvres traduisent merveilleusement son talent de coloriste et de luministe.
