Condition

Small parts missing on the wrist under the bracelet. Needs cleaning. Small uprisen areas in the background above the head. No repaints visible under the UV light.

Catalogue Note

Par son sujet et sa composition, notre tableau est très proche de Fleurs de cactus qui représente la même petite porteuse d'eau devant des cactus. Fleur de cactus est reproduit dans l'Illustration du 29 avril 1911, n°3557.
Un tableau représentant une Bédouine à Tunis à été vendu chez Sotheby's à Londres le 30 mai 2008 pour 90 500 £ (lot 164).
