Very good overall condtion. Original canvas; very thin net of cracks on the surface; Three tiny loss on the lower part; repaint on the pink costume of the seatted child and on the veil of the kneeling woman on the left hand side

Il séjourne quinze ans en Egypte et en Turquie, où il peint des portraits très appréciés par les Egyptiens et les Turcs, et de nombreuses scènes animées: scènes de rues et de marchés, harems, personnages orientaux etc..
