Condition
Overall the condition of the wood is good. There is some splitting consistent with age and material, particularly to the forehead. There is overall worming to the surface, particularly to the bottom part of the figure where it has lead to some losses. There are losses and restorations to both hands and the left foot. The figure was carved from several parts and joints are visible along the proper left side, at the left shoulder and forearm and the right shoulder. There is an insert to the back of the right shoulder.
