Catalogue Note
The defined rib cage and long perizonium with broad fold at the hips together with the angular crossed feet are to be found on earlier romanesque corpora dating from the late 12th century. However this style continues and the treatment to the head with the hair falling onto His shoulders are indicative of a date into the thirteenth or early fourteenth centuries.
