Condition

"The following condition report has been provided by Henry Gentle, an independent restorer who is not an employee of Sotheby's. The oak panel is in good condition and is evenly chamfered. The paint surface is sound. Beneath the discoloured and degraded varnish the painting is in very good condition with the paint seemingly well preserved. 19thC black and gilt frame-good condition."
