Condition
"The following condition report has been provided by Henry Gentle, an independent restorer who is not an employee of Sotheby's.
The oak panel has a visible horizontal crack which is unstable. There is a scattering of retouchings in the background. The paint within the still life and the ledge has been significantly compromised and under U-V light a substantial amount of restoration can be seen in this area. The thin scumbles and glazes have been worst affected.
19/20thC gilt frame-good condition."
