Condition

Panel is uncradled. There is a horizontal join which has been reinforced with battens on the reverse of the panel. The paint surface has been well preserved with good impastos in most areas. There is some slight thinness noticeable in the browns at far left side. under ultraviolet: some small retouches to flesh areas and some retouching in the darker areas. In an ornately carved and gilt wood frame with some losses.
