Condition
The colours in catalogue are representative of those in the painting. The canvas has been relined. There are some minor spots of paint loss but the paint surface is generally secure and under a dirty varnish with fine cracquelure throughout. Inspection under UV light is impeded by the varnish. There are, however, some scattered retouchings and small areas of restoration. Offered in a wood and plaster gilt frame in reasonable condition with some small losses.
