Condition
The catalogue illustration is representative of the painting. The canvas has a stable relining. The paint surface is generally secure. Small discoloured retouchings are visible to the naked eye. Inspection under ultra violet light reveals further scattered retouchings and strengthenings throughout, particularly along the craquelure. There is an area upper right with discoloured retouchings and abrasion. This is visible in the catalogue illustration.
The lot is offered in a gold wood and plaster frame in fair condition.
