Condition
The colours in the catalogue illustration are representative of the painting. The support comprises of two horizontal panels which are cradled to the reverse. The panel has three horizontal splits, which are visible on the recto (as visible in the catalogue illustration). There are also other horizontal hairline cracks to the painted surface. The paint surface is under a thick dirty varnish. Inspection under UV light reveals scattered retouchings, strengthenings and small areas of restoration throughout. Offered unframed.
