Condition
The canvas has been relined. The paint surface is secure and under a dirty varnish. There are some scattered retouchings visible to the naked eye. Thorough inspection under UV light is impeded by the varnish but some scattered retouchings and strengthenings do fluoresce. There is an X-shaped restoration of approximately 10 by 20 cm lower centre and a small vertical restoration approximately 8 cm lower right. These are both in the red drapery. Offered in a painted wood frame in fair condition.
