Condition
The canvas has been relined. The colours in the catalogue illustration are representative of the painting. The paint surface is fairly abraded, particularly in the background, and has some small scattered losses. The varnish is thick and dirty and impedes proper inspection under UV light. However, there appear to be some scattered retouchings and strengthenings. Offered in a gold wood frame with some paint losses on the left edge.
