Condition
The canvas has been relined. The paint surface is now secured by a dirty varnish but there are some small scattered losses, particularly in the centre, and some areas of abrasion. The varnish impedes examination under UV light but some scattered, slightly discoloured, retouchings are visible to the naked eye. Offered in a large gilt wood frame with abrasion along the outer edges.
