Condition
The catalogue illustration is representative of the painting.
The canvas has been relined and it is mounted in a wood guilt and light brown painted cassetta frame, with a major loss on the right side.
To the naked eye no major damages can be seen, only some restoration along the upper, left and right margins.
The thick varnish impedes a clear inspection under ultra-violet light, but confirms the afore-mentioned restoration and reveals some tiny retouchings.
