Condition
The colours in the catalogue illustration are representative of the painting. The panel has a horizontal split approx 10 cm from the lower edge which is visible on the recto (as visible in the catalogue illustration). There are some very minor scattered flecks of paint loss and a small damage of 0.5 cm upper centre. The paint is secured by the somewhat dirty varnish. Inspection under UV light is impeded by the varnish but some scattered retuochings are apparent.
