Condition
The colours of the painting are slightly less red than they appear in the catalogue illustration. The canvas has been relined. There is a small fleck of paint loss in the centre and another lower right. The varnish is thick and very dirty. Scattered retouchings, some of which have discoloured, are visible to the naked eye. These are confirmed under UV light. Offered in a gold painted wood frame which is quite rubbed.
